I saw "Straw Dogs" so long ago it was on at an art theater. (Remember those? Probably not! Video killed THEM, too!) All I remember about it is that Dustin Hoffman was really young, and someone tries to break into his home.
We had the Olmos Theater when I lived in San Antonio, Texas. Later, it turned into a porn palace (how revolting is that?) but while it was showing good stuff i saw lots of movies I had missed or been to young to see, like "Far From The Madding Crowd", "Desert Hearts", "Breaker Morant", and "Days Of Heaven."
Hey there! My name is Sara Freeman and I'm a burgeoning feminist film theorist and freelance writer. Over the past year, my work has been featured in five different publications, including Bitch, Sadie, and The Feminist Review. I've been a film geek my entire life and I keep on getting geekier as I get older. I draw inspiration from a wide variety of sources, but I'm an enormous fan of classic Hollywood, "B" movies, and Joss Whedon. Please feel free to visit my website for more information. As always, I appreciate any and all comments! Thank you.
Please don't plagarize. It makes you look bad, it hurts my feelings, and it pisses me off. If you want to quote anything I write, please e-mail me at Starstudded182@yahoo.com beforehand and tell me what it's about. I'd love to read it. Thank you!
